Humans, First Decide with Intuitions and Then Make up a Logical Reason to Justifies it
[Statement]
This function helps us to React Fast against Dangers. It came from evolution.
[Example] elephant and Rider
the helpful metaphor of the rider and the elephant. The Rider is a conscious Mind with a Rational Function. the elephant is “Genetic inclination”, “Internal Presuppositions”, “Subconscious motives”
needless to say, the elephant is likely bigger and more powerful.
As the rider responds to the elephant, our reasoning process has become well-adjusted.
“We are emotional actors! We are highly intuitive beings who act first and justify later. Our beliefs, convictions, and values are far less “rational” than we imagine.”
[example] Government Press secretary
the Government plays the elephant and the secretary plays the rider. Government Says Right or Lies. but the secretary should Defense it because it’s his/her job. they must find a way to defend the government against his decision’s consequences.
